Oh Crikey

It's been a hell of a time recently for us.

With family illness and work all competing for attention the blog has slipped and for your concerns I'm grateful. We are all still here and much appreciating your best wishes.

Life and Art will always prevail however and we've still been busy. We've had some cracking pre weds of late, first up are Andy and Nicki who came up to Hull from Southampton for their Pre Wed Shoot. They were such fun I can't wait f
or their wedding day at the Cave Castle, going to be fab.

Why I love shooting weddings

I love my work so much for so many reasons. Not least because it involves me in weddings and weddings are fab. Generally it gives me the opportunity to be in the middle of gorgeous events, in gorgeous settings with gorgeous people.

Never more so than yesterday when I shared the wedding day of Jon and Karen at the Red Lion in Burnsall. The sun shone on us and we had a ball. In fact they're probably still having it but I had to come away eventually!

Enjoy the small taster presented here. More will be online soon. Thanks as always to Sarah and her team for making the day go like clockwork and for producing a beautiful meal of beef and Yorkshire puds. Did I mention food as one of the reasons I love my work?

Away Today

I'm off up the Dales again today to the Red Lion at Burnsall for the weddding of Karen and Jon. They're a beautiful couple who I had the pleasure of shooting their pre wed in Hull a couple of months ago. We had a blast that day and I expect nothing less from today!

In the week I had a first shoot at our new training venue in Barton upon Humber. It's a beautiful country house called Bardney Hall. We feel deeply fortunate to be working closely with the owner Colin and his staff there. Whenever you come on our courses there you know that as well as some amazing locations and photographic opportunities, you will be superbly fed in magnificent surroundings.

Our two models on Tuesday, Janey and Laura were wonderful. Worked hard, looked gorgeous and never complained about my feeble jokes. If you want to try your hand at shooting a portfolio or just looking fabulous then give us a call.

Anyway the bags are packed and the highway is calling so back tomorrow with some wedding pictures.
