I've been fortunate to have been invited to talk at the last two events and this one promises to be best yet.
I'm so excited about my own involvement at the event and to meet loads of friends, old, new and waiting to be made.
It's an incredible atmosphere at the venue. It starts on Tuesday for me, travel down, arrive leisurely at the hotel then get thrown into a frantic round of emptying wagons and setting up with all the staff from Rhyl!
Wednesday will see me having a lie in before setting out in the afternoon for a trip around London with a group of photographers and the wonderful Vivienne Edge. This one is SOLD OUT I'm afraid but there are more talks later in the week.
On Thursday it will be my birthday and to celebrate I'm helping Robert Lino with his portrait workshop.
Friday is when it all starts getting busy. In the morning I have a Confidential Workshop with Vivienne. If you want to know more about the art of nude, boudoir and lingerie photography then this practical session is one for you.
In the afternoon Camilla and I will be on stage at the Flash Centre stand in the Trade Show. We'll be exploring a few different uses for softboxes and the Elinchrom Quadras. We'll be repeating this show on the Saturday and Sunday so no excuse for not coming along.
Saturday is a welcome all comers Masterclass on shooting a Model Portfolio. If you come along you'll find out what it takes to add this lucrative aspect to your business and what images you need to take to benefit your clients.
Sunday is the culmination of our week and a session I can't wait to deliver. It Takes Two is a concept we've been developing for the past twelve months. Our previous principal model is on the verge of retiring and has been replaced on this session by Hannah Jones. Hannah has huge experience across the stills and film industry and together we will tell you everything you've ever wanted to know about shooting with models. It's going to be the most informative session of the whole convention so any questions you want to ask......come along and share.
You will also see me on the stands of all my friends at the Trade Show, Colorworld, Sim2000, Exclusive7, OnOne, Nik and Aaduki.
